UFC Sued by Former Fighters

Mixed martial artists in the United States of America have entered a lawsuit they’ve worked towards for several years. It’s been impossible for any federal judge to accept this case, with continuous denials to accept claims being the response from America’s Supreme Court. Those denials couldn’t be sustained any longer with 1200 MMA fighters engaging with this multibillion-dollar lawsuit. Accusations iteration that Dana Whites Ultimate Fighting Championship engaged with monopoly tactics to eliminate opposing competitions.

Filing of this lawsuit was first implemented in January 2014, meaning the 7th year behind this case is entering fruition & the courts haven’t officially resided over proceedings. UFC Fighters that were formally employed by Dana White claim that illegal strategies were employed for monopoly growth. This allowed the UFC to become MMAs prominent source for professional contention, while also having greater capabilities in limiting monetary payments to these fighters.

Federal Judges in America have avoided taking this case, knowing the public complaints that’ll be sustaining by suing the UFC for billions. It shows fear behind countless Judge’s, with the exception being Richard Boulware of Las Vegas. This US District Judge confirmed he’ll take the class-action lawsuit, with overwhelming evidence implicating the UFC of criminal actions.

Accepting this case marks the first in decades that an American Judge is going against a largescale corporation & monopoly. Creating monopolies go against the core premise of the United States, as competing companies are leveraged & workers receive lower compensation for their skillsets. This case being award in-favour of Ex UFC Fighters will enable $5 Billion in compensation. Dana White’s UFC would be required to make payment within twelve months or face an immediate forced closure.

The UFC is Running Away

When asked to discuss the matter publicly, spokesman & executives refused to provide details regarding their position on the lawsuit. Paying $5 Billion to swindled fighters would mean the UFCs parent-company spending more than the cost of purchasing this league. Considering that largescale corporations creating monopolies have become targeted in America, the UFC is likely about to payout more finances than ever expected.
